On 23rd May, 2017 Toyota Zambia andWorld Vision Zambia handed over a 1×2 class room block at Ndaiwala Basic School in Lundazi district built at total cost of K131,000.00 including 40 desks.
The project was funded by Toyota Zambia. During the handover ceremony, TZAM MD pointed out that the project was in line with the company’s core values which are focused on making a positive contribution to improving the quality of life for the communities in which we live andwork.
The Classroom block was officially opened by Lundazi District Commissioner Ms Janet Palukani, also in attendance was the National Director ofWorld Vision Mr. Mark Kelly, Lundazi District Board Education Secretary, Chief’s representative and Village Headmen. In addition to the classroom block handover ceremony, a tree planting exercise was also under taken atwhich 150 trees donated by Toyota Zambiawere planted at the school.
