Component Affected: Takata Driver and Front Passenger airbag inflator

Full Detailed description: Certain airbag inflators fitted on certain models have been found to have a potential of moisture intrusion over time. Depending on the conditions, this could create extreme internal pressure when the airbag is deployed and cause the inflator to rupture. In the event of an inflator rupture, metal fragments could pass through the airbag cushion material, possibly injuring the driver and front passenger in the event of an accident. To date, no injuries caused by this condition have been reported locally.
