Free Suspension Check for Toyota Owners – Stay Safe This Festive Season!
Following highly successful pilot programs in Livingstone (Southern Province) and Kitwe (Copperbelt Province), CFAO Mobility is proud to announce the national rollout of our Free Suspension Check Campaign for all Toyota owners.
A vehicle suspension system is fundamental to both safety and performance. It is your first line of defense against road imperfections, playing a critical role in keeping your tires firmly in contact with the asphalt. This campaign is driven by our commitment to community safety and our dedication to helping Toyota owners ensure their vehicles are truly road ready. We are making this complimentary service available across the entire country through our extensive network of Toyota branches, Authorized Service Centers (ASC) and Team Toyota Garages (TTG). Importantly, this offer is extended to every Toyota owner, regardless of where the vehicle was originally purchased.

The Critical Benefits of a Suspension Check
A properly functioning suspension system is vital for several reasons:
- Enhanced Safety: Worn suspension components can compromise your vehicle’s stability, leading to longer stopping distances and increased risk of skidding, especially in wet conditions. It also negatively impacts the effectiveness of your Anti-lock Braking System (ABS).
- Improved Vehicle Control and Handling: A healthy suspension ensures precise steering response and maintains optimal vehicle balance during cornering, providing you with confident control.
- Protection of Your Investment: A faulty suspension can cause uneven and premature wear on your tires, leading to costly replacements. It can also place undue stress on other vehicle components.
- Comfort for All Occupants: The suspension system absorbs shocks from bumps and potholes. A check ensures a smooth, comfortable ride for you and your passengers.
Do not compromise on safety. Take advantage of this free service to drive with confidence and peace of mind.

Recall / Special Service Campaign
In keeping with Toyota’s global policy, CFAO Mobility Zambia Limited has initiated a special service campaign on various Toyota models.
To find out if your vehicle is part of any Special Service or Recall Campaign, input the Vehicle Identification Number* (VIN) on the VIN Checker section together with your details to request the status of your vehicle. The VIN or Chassis number is a unique code used to identify individual vehicles and can be found either on vehicle body or license disc of the vehicle.
Current Toyota Volunteered Recall Campaigns
Production Year: From January 2005 to August 2016
Component Affected: Driver and front passenger Takata airbag inflator
Full Detailed description: Certain airbag inflators fitted on some models have been found to have a potential of moisture intrusion over time. Depending on the conditions, this could create extreme internal pressure when the airbag is deployed and cause the inflator to rupture. In the event of an inflator rupture caused by traffic accident, metal fragments could pass through the airbag cushion material, possibly injuring the driver and front passenger.
What to do?
If you own a Toyota Vehicle purchased between 2005 and 2016, we recommend that you have your vehicle checked. You can input your VIN on the VIN CHECKER bellow to request out Service Department to send you the status of the recall campaigns or you can visit any of our five branches; from Monday to Friday normal working hours and Saturday 09:00hrs to 11:00hrs.
