Electrified vehicles can deliver impressive acceleration capabilities.

Electrified Vehicles

Reducing CO2 emissions is a pressing issue on a global scale, and Toyota is working to become carbon neutral (CN) by 2050. There is significance in promoting the widespread adoption of environmental vehicles to contribute to CO2 reduction. Toyota is therefore offering a variety of options with a full lineup of electrified vehicles, including HEVs, PHEVs, BEVs, and FCEVs, to provide sustainable a means of transportation in a practical manner. It aims to reduce CO2 emissions with vehicles that are easy to use and attractive to customers.

Toyota believes that HEVs will continue to be an important option in areas that lack clean power and charging infrastructure. Therefore, it will continue to offer attractive vehicles such as eco-cars that are within people’s reach.

Hybrid Electric Vehicles

Toyota Hybrids combine the power of petrol engines with the efficiency of electric motors, delivering reduced emissions without the need to wait for the battery to recharge.

Hydrogen

Toyota positions hydrogen as an important fuel in its efforts to reduce CO2 emissions with the aim of achieving carbon neutrality. Toyota is working with partners in a variety of industries in the areas of producing, transporting, storing, and using hydrogen to promote both fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs), including passenger and commercial trucks and buses, as well as FC products, including the development and demonstration operation of FC stationary generators. In doing so, Toyota aims to contribute to the realization of a hydrogen society by promoting the use of hydrogen.

Why hydrogen fuel cell electric?

  • Refuels in just five minutes

  • Exceptional range – Our latest generation of Hydrogen Fuel Cell Electric vehicles, like the Toyota Mirai, can cover up to 650km on a single charge, surpassing the range of other electric vehicle types.

  • Clean the air as you drive – Hydrogen Fuel Cell Electric vehicles release only a minimal amount of water from the tailpipe, offering the potential to revolutionize the driving experience and promote cleaner mobility for our planet

Beyond Zero

“Achieving zero, and adding new value beyond it” As part of efforts to pass our beautiful “Home Planet” to the next generation, Toyota has identified and is helping to solve issues faced by individuals and overall society, which Toyota calls “Achieving Zero,” hoping to help reduce the negative impacts caused by these issues to people and the environment to zero. Additionally, Toyota is also looking “Beyond Zero” to create and provide greater value by continuing to diligently seek ways to improve lives and society for the future. “By loving the Earth, we can ensure that future generations will be able to inherit our beautiful home.”
