Beyond Zero- “Achieving zero, and adding new value beyond it”

The need to promote clean energy in Zambia has always been evident owing to the increased effects of climate change on weather patterns and rising cost of petroleum. This presents an opportunity for mobility powered by renewable energy, including electric vehicles. The government of Zambia has already zero-rated excise duty for electric vehicles and halved their customs duty.

It is with this regard that we are happy to share that as part of Toyota’s efforts to pass our beautiful “Home Planet” to the next generation, Toyota has identified and is helping to solve issues faced by individuals and overall society, which it calls “Achieving Zero,”

Don’t Drink And Drive

It is a well-known fact that the festive season is the booziest time of the year because not only do people want to relax and commemorate Christmas but also look forward to the new year.

Notably, there are no exceptions to the rule: If you have been drinking, do not drive. The effects of alcohol on your driving can include:

1. False sense of confidence
2. Increased tendency to take risks.
3. Reduced co-ordination and concentration.
4. Slower reaction times.
5. Impaired vision
6. Impaired perception of obstacles
7. Poor Judgment

These side effects put the driver, potential passengers, other vehicles, and pedestrians at risk. Therefore, Cfao Motors (Zambia) Limited would like to remind customers to enjoy this festive season by responsively ensuring not to mix alcohol and driving.

Happy Festive Season, and wishing you safe rides.

Elated Customer – Hilux GR Sport Limited Edition

We would like to thanks Mr. Nkatwe for purchasing the Hilux GR Sport limited edition which he described as tough and unique.Elated Customer – Hilux GR Sport Limited Edition

Asked about why he perceived the Hilux GR Sport to be unique, this is what he had to say.

“I am well read and informed that the Hilux GR Sport is the first Gazoo Racing (GR) vehicle to be made available in South Africa through Toyota’s dealer network and is now sold right here, at Toyota Zambia. Considering how popular the Hilux is, this vehicle represents a smart way to assess the marketability and popularity of the GR sub-brand specifically in Zambia. I am overjoyed to be part of this elite limited family of this Hilux version because of its uniquely designed interior which comes with an exclusive production serial number, built just for me. The red stitching perforated on leather seats,  the dashboard, the GR inscriptions on the push to start button, head rest and the TOYOTA inscription is just admirable (as he smiles). Above all the captivating features graced on the vehicle, the Hilux GR Sport is comfortable both on smooth and rough roads”.

Join us in congratulating Mr. Nkatwe for his well described purchase. We wish him safe exciting rides with his unique Hilux GR Sport Limited edition.

Asked about how she felt about the gesture from her husband, this is what she said. “I am elated; my husband knows very well just how to encourage me with my farming business. It is a perfect vehicle for farming. I will not just enjoy the prestige aspect tagged with driving the Toyota Hilux, but also will enjoy transporting goods from my farm to the retailers because of the Hilux’s on-off road performance capabilities without worrying about damaging the suspension. Need I say more? (as she smiles)”

Congratulations to Mrs. Grace Silanda and wish you well in your business and many safer rides.
